Skoda Elroq debuts with three battery options

The Skoda Elroq is the Czech brand’s latest electric car, slotting into the compact SUV segment below its other EV, the Enyaq. It’s a similar size to Skoda’s other compact SUV, the Karoq, and it will compete against several popular electric cars such as the Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro EV.

The front of the Ealroque looks like a Hyundai Kona...some weird choices were made at Skodas design department.

A sliding rear seat would fit into the "simply clever" scheme of things, for those times when a bigger boot would be needed instead of rear passenger legroom.

No frunk? Yes the cables can be kept neatly under the tonneau cover, but they are still taking up boot space even if now more accessible than underfloor storage with a loaded boot.
A frunk is still preferable.

But a nice looking car that's less expensive than the Enyaq.
