Hi very helpful video thank you. I just wondered if, this year, because of the exceptionally warm/hot spring it is OK to trim now at the beginning of June only mine are starting to look quite leggy and the flowers are going over so it would seem like they do need it. What do you think?

Fantastic video, I have planted a lavender hedge this year so the plants are still v young, do I still cut them back this month by 50%? Also one of them has about 50% of its branches dead, do I just cut them out or get rid of the whole plant...not sure if it could be diseased? It just hasn't flourished like the rest of them which have doubled in size. Thanks

How can I save my potted french lavender? Can I even grow it potted indoors in Chicago? (It's been about 15 F outside). It was gifted to me about a month ago, and it was doing well until about week ago. The tips of the leaves started to brown on one side. Now about half of the plant is browned, and a couple places droop while other parts thrive. The only directions I was given was to keep moist and hot, give good light. I put it on a South facing window sill. How often is it supposed to be watered? How do I save this plant? Would it help to repot it? How big does the pot have to be? What kind of soil does it need?

I did cut my French lavender same way as in the video and it looks like it's dead now (May - no green leaves at all).

I've a small legion of lavenders, French my favs, but what I really need is a way to stop my brother spraying the goddam things, he's the one on the left. I'd never do such a thing, of course. ; /
