Come with me and my family as we tour the country of England. We traveled from the north to the south and explored lots of places in between. I also went to the world famous Loop London and squished all the gorgeous yarns.

Check out the blog post for details about the yarns I purchased:

I would love to keep in touch! You can find me on:

As a proud English Woman I found your praise for my beautiful home such a treat and it reminded me once again that I have such a rich history that in everyday life, I often forget 😉 As an avid crocheter myself I'm very proud of our many yarn shops up and down the British Isles. If you ever get the chance to visit us again, stop off in Scotland and Wales as you'll find some fantastic yarn shops there in their abundance.

As an American who married a brit and moved to England 36 years ago, I found your vlog hilarious and so reminiscent of my first year here. It IS a special place. Thank you for reminding me not to take it all for granted! 💕

I sometimes wish I could get out of England, but your commentary on York and Silverstone reminds me that there is a lot of history and beauty to be admired in our small island country. York is one of my favourite cities and my dream is to eventually live within that region, or the Lake District which you mentioned, as the scenery and history of both places takes my breath away.

Step daughter is in the guild of spinners and teaches spinning, raw wool dying, crochet and knitting.
She even does leather work.
For a heavy goods truck driver and dock worker its a big contrast for her.

We moved to the northwest of England just over a year ago from South Africa and the availability of such a variety of yarns at good prices. We're also astounded at the narrow roads! My nerves are always on edge when driving 😅. England is beautiful and we're happy to call it home now.

Awwww my beautiful England! Moved there at 22 and made it my home for 15yrs. I’ve been now 2yrs in Germany and, although it’s beautiful here too with the alps, my heart aches with love and yearning! Thank u for this video!

Wow, I just discovered this video of your trip. I really enjoyed it! Excellent editing and choice of music. I envy you getting to an English yarn shop. My daughter has gone to England a few times and brought me a hook and some yarn from a shop I discovered in a magazine I had. So cool! Thank you for sharing your special trip! I lived in Germany for three years before I got into crochet. How different my focus would be now! Because of how long Europe has been inhabited, there is history everywhere—not just the British Isles. ❤❤❤

My dad was in the military and we were stationed at RAF Woodbridge. I was 4 when we moved there.

That was the happiest time of my life. I remember going to the Tower of london and seeing the Crown Jewels. My mom used to live antiquing, so she had quite a few antiques from there.

This video brogjt back so many happy memories for me, so thank you for aharing!

OHHHH, I miss England so much. York is amazing. My mum is British and I was born in the UK (St. Albans) but I haven't been back in about 20 years now. I must change that! Thank you for sharing your journey xx
