Great opening scene. Encapsulates everything I love about Emmerdale and why it remains my favourite Soap from the use of animals, rural life, the nod to the past and that breathtaking scenery. No one can do it like Emmerdale.

Got the Emmerdale-50 years book with a plot of whose graves are where. The baby that died and Ashley and Laurel thought was theirs, Daniel, is near Ashley’s-as is Edna’s.

Keep noticing new details by pausing it at the beginning. The gravestone next to Frank and Chris’s is Liam Hammond-Frank’s other, bitter son who took Chris hostage.

Had to pause it to check the dates on one of the graves. Katherine Sugden could either have been Katie or- some may not remember her- Kate Hughes ( Mark and Rachel’s mum) who married Joe. Going by the dates tho, it was Katie. 1986 to 2015. Another good one to show would’ve been Joe.
