A simple Tulipwood Bowl. It has been a while since I have turned tulipwood, it cuts like butter and is very lightweight.

Tulipwood, called poplar in The States, is always interesting to turn. I generally get 3/4" (19mm) thick boards that I glue up. Rarely do I come across a solid chunk. But, from now on I'm gonna look carefully.
