battery tested good with a different battery tester ...fyi this is all after the alternator change

Lol Autozone tester said needed an alternator and starter but battery was good. Oriellys tester said bad battery and everything else was fine. Dude at Autozone was cool, he said man I wouldn’t trust that tester we use. Said to get a 2nd opinion.
Got new battery and it’s good.

They're supposed to be providing a service, instead its deception. Autozone corporate probably has deception listed as a synonym for service.

I've had different results for same battery at two different AutoZone. The last guy. Younger black guy told me Yeah some of these people here will do anything to sell a part because they get paid by quota. He said his quota was good already.

Nah it probably got fried a lil when someone turned on the car with it connected 😭 no one noticed it was faulty. Just buy a tester, then return it and you can verify yourself, they’re all simple to use

Try turning the vehicle off then start the test just as the battery tester says right in front of your face
