Vacaville Starbucks Racism Complaint

Johncarl Festejo stopped in this Vacaville Starbucks Monday before taking his daughter to school. He gave the name John with his order but when it was ready a barista yelled out the name Chang. Offended, the retired Air Force veteran questioned management.

This continues to prove unfortunately that being a minority that served this country doesn't mean anything because you still have to come home to disrespect.

Why am I not surprised. Vacaville is the west end of the Sacramento Valley and is just as racist as the City of Sacramento and the rest of the valley too

I know people at this store...the girl taken off the schedule /fired was the one who called out the name, and was also Asian...this dude really is reaching "fighting" racism

A person just lost their job due to this customer not changing HIS name on HIS app. Baristas cannot change your name on YOUR Starbucks account, once you swipe your card whatever name that's on there goes on your order. It cannot be changed and sometimes baristas are too busy to notice. You get a name wrong now your out of a job, called racist, and probably on the verge of being homeless. No money, no home. SMH

I researched Chang and found no Chang gangs. I did however; find an emperor that ruled in China. There is the prime minister of Peru named Chang. Chang means often. Also means smooth, unhindered. Its also a unit of measure ment (3.2 meters or about 10') There are 100 veterans name Chang in Va cemeteries. The inventor of Kung Fu; yep, Chang. Then there's Dr. Chang at the VA. Hes a Cool dude.
