I am one that tries to put in the price of gas into the computer. You have 10 second window after starting the car after a fill to want a price reset. Owning a 2017 Prius with 180, 000 miles I know what mine does. The computer guesses how gallons of gas you put in. Mine under estimates this by 7%. Fun game is write down gallons purchased and GPS miles traveled. My odometer reads 1% high and speedometer reads 2 mph high. (1 mph high on new tires) I'll make this short. On mine when I read my cost of fuel for the month on the dash. I raise it by 7% and the numbers are real close all year long. MPG is overestimated by 8% if you use GPS miles. If I ever would have anything plugin. There would be a electric meter at the plug, and I am sure I would be John the Baptist saying these are my numbers.

If you do this does the road sign recognition service still work? ie. Do you still see speed limit signs on the dash?
