It's important to remember that clones have accelerated ageing, and enhanced learning capabilities.
Every single clone is a child by human Standards, and wrecker acts like one.

Wrecker is awesome. The order 66 scene with him was genuinely terrifying and changed by perspective on him a lot. I always saw wrecker as a big goof, and he is, but the scene where he chases Omega made me realize how utterly terrifying coming up against him would be. He's basically the size of a 40k space marine, an expert with both heavy weapons and hand to hand combat, and shockingly fast for his massive size. It made me really glad wrecker is a good bloke, and realize how truly fucked everyone would be if wrecker didn't have good morals. Also as an autistic person I relate to his lack of understanding of social norms

His IQ ain't the highest, but his EQ is the highest of the Batch. He's not constantly wound up, he can relax, socialize with people, and enjoy life. But it doesn't preclude him from being a good soldeir, a one man wrecking crew, and a skilled demolitions expert.

Aside from Omega, Wrecker has the biggest heart and has a lot of compassion, which means he's more intelligent than he appears. All he cares about is finishing the mission and keeping his family safe, everything else is just a bonus

Wrecker is hands down my favorite of the Bad Batch. All of them are great, but Wrecker is such a kind soul that it melts my heart. He's usually the one that hangs out with Omega and that's because they are having A BLAST every second of it, even when the things they're doing are mundane or common place. He enjoys life way more than anyone else in the show and it's so nice to watch him <3

He has a high EQ and lower IQ. Crosshair has a high IQ and a lower EQ. Arguably Crosshair is as intelligent as Tech just in a more specific focus (snipers)

I always felt that Wrecker grew the childlike persona he has as a result of his enormous size and physical capabilities. He is clearly quite intelligent in the fields he finds interesting, like military combat tactics and demolition/heavy ordinance. He can disarm or jury rig dangerous and complicated weaponry with ease. plus, when his chip activated, it's not like it gave him extra intelligence; it essentially made him drop the goofy outer shell. I think he acts the way he does so as to put those around him at ease. Thanks to his social intelligence, he knows he is intimidating and that people would be fearful around him, and he doesn't want that. but he also knows how to drop the persona when he needs that intimidation

I'm pretty sure that showed something similar during the Pabu episode. I think je kind of sensed that there is something between Tech and Phee as when they arrive and the mayor or something guy shows up he says to him: "Looks like you've got a competition, " which really indicates to me that he knows they are atracted to each other

I think Wreckers simplicity is his biggest strength. Everyone else is so serious and cautious and by the book, but then he just comes in pure raging chaos and it just works out for him nearly every time. Sometimes you don’t need a plan, you just need to let Wrecker do his thing

Wrecker is smart, just not mathematics and science smart. He is unmatched in his speciality, he is more like an adult that never grew up or doesnt want to grow up. Might also be that thanks to his mutation the Accelerated Maturity did not work aswell. Sure his body is that of a mid 20 year old but his brain might not have matured yet

Wrecker is the annoying little brother, Tech is the awkward middle child and Cross hair is the second big brother. While Hunter is the first big brother.

Omega is the baby sister.

wrecker is a lot smarter than he lets on. remeber when he jury rigged a cannon while under fire?thats not a simple task! and proper handling of explosives is also a complicated thing. i wonder if his childish personality is his coping system with all the war and hard work he does
