This is actually a great idea because usually text to mesh and then remeshing always gives you some weird geometry but when you inflate it the weird geometry acts as the seams of a balloon meaning weird geomtry ftw.

And how to import text from gimp I have a text that has a transparent background and when I paste it into blender how do I make it thicker and not so flat because I want to get a text that has a custom font that is only in some plugin for gimp
