10 arrows in 10 seconds by Mihai Cozmei

NEW FAST SHOOTING RECORD WITH THE FLYING QUIVER:
Ten arrows in ten seconds (10,8s, 18m distance)!
Remaining consistent and comfortable while shooting at a very high pace (1,2 seconds rate of fire in this case), becomes possible through a more complete implementation of the "principle of the umbrella", (applied for drawing and loading as well).
Nevertheless, several updates were also needed in order to increase the compatibility of the archery technique with the basic principle of shooting:
- wide and upright basic stance, open to the target and having a strong dynamic aspect,
- proper breathing control (shooting all the arrows after inspiration while keeping the air inside, before the next breathing out),
- using the flying quiver in a more horizontal position (by shortening the front shoulder straps, eventually lengthening the rigid rods from the back part)
- implementing a higher performance loading technique ("the slapping hand", which will be the main subject of a future Facebook posting)

Can we appreciate how consistent he is, every arrow placement in the bow has 4 knocks before he shoots, he isn't fumbling the arrows to try and get the fastest shot

The gentle careful flick, there is no unnecessary moving just a smooth cycle of precise small movements. Incredible

I like that the arrows landed in a realistic way. No faking the results. 👌

Incredible. I would end it there but you are also incredibly inspiring.

If you somehow stumble across this video and my comment, you likely already know but he does the same thing here, but also from the back of a galloping horse!

Plus he looks so incredibly cool while he's doing it that it's not fair.

Thank you for sharing this video with us.

Wow. You are completely changing how I see archery. Thank you. I do have some questions though.

I didn't realize this was possible for a human being. Wonder if units of skilled archers ever used such a technique at closer ranges

Instead of the arrow reaching the bow, the bow reaches the arrow then the bow moves forward
