Lori often spoke to Chad Daybell, her fifth husband, about the "demons" in her family and the two discussed getting rid of the bad spirits.

This is the worst romance novel I've ever heard. I will never understand why they had to kill their spouses and children. They did all this to be alone together and now they will never be together again. And two families are destroyed. They hadn't even spent much time together and likely would've gotten bored with each other once they settled down.

Is anyone else completely off-put by the defense attorneys' unprofessional, condescending, argumentative attitudes towards the prosecutors and witnesses?

I understand it's their job to try and poke holes in the testimony to create a reasonable doubt, but surely it can be done more respectfully... if anything, I think their approach would negatively affect the jury's opinion of the defendant and her counsel.
