Advanced Real Time Django Web App made with Django Channels and Websocket (Demo)

Hello This is a project that I am currently working on . It is a real time web app made with Django channels and websocket. It uses JS for frontend.
It currently has following features.
1) User Registration and Login
2)User online status(real time)
3) Message notifications when receiver is not in room(real time)
4) Private Chat (real time)
5) User is typing status (real time)
Currently it has a flaw in user online status. It works fine when user login and logout using button. But when user closes the tab it will still show online .
So I am working on that feature. I did that but I am looking for best solution. If you have know to achieve that please tell me in comment or provide source code.
