Texas DPS mistakenly sends Amber Alert for Chucky doll

While the alert appears to be a mistake, it was sent out via email to subscribers of the Texas Alerts System Friday morning.

How do you “mistakenly” send out an amber alert for Chucky and his son? 😂😂😂
There’s a lot that has to happen before it “accidentally” gets sent out, and then someone has to press SEND, I imagine.
Still, kudos to whoever did this because it is sending me!!!!

An amber alert for "Chucky"? I doubt that "Chucky" would be the one in danger.

anyone with a brain will know it is NOT "mistaken" but intentionally....just like The Purge warning sound during COVID lockdown.

My guess is, it was most likely a test for either the template (the pictures and information) or perhaps testing a machine learning algorithm to help automate the task. So they just needed filler information that was clearly not real, and the person tasked with that was obviously a Child's Play fan. Then maybe someone mistakenly saw that there was an amber alert ready to go and sent it without checking it. Or perhaps if it was an algorithm, maybe the algorithm screwed up. Either way, I highly doubt there was any harm intended, or any sort of conspiracy.
