There’s just one thing I think people overlook when they interpret Cartoon Cat as a horror character. He’s a cartoon, and cartoons alone would be terrifying in real life given what classic cartoons do. 1: Shapeshift, mostly to imitate or mock other characters
2: Pull random objects out from behind themselves, around a corner, or just out of thin air
3: Exaggerated expressions especially when angered or spooked
4: Instant regeneration when beyond field of vision
5: Ignoring normal physics
6: Sometimes damaging themselves in ways that allow them to squeeze into otherwise unreachable areas
7: Manipulating the environment especially when breaking out in song
8: etc.
My point is, if Cartoon Cat was made into a horror game, his appearance should be less hideous and the game should focus more on what an evil cartoon could do in real life. There should even be a cutscene of the player being pushed or bounced around by the Cartoon Cat warping his hideout into an almost living, dancing stage during a musical number.
