This is absolute gold,
Bon Scott the prowling pirate, Phil Rudd the human metronome, Cliff the Face on bass, Malcolm the chord digging rhythm machine and Angus the fretboard killing lead guitarist who could fall down a flight of stairs while playing guitar and not miss a lick.

Superb posting ! The loudest band in '77 and before the world was ready for them....dynamic classic footage with one extremely important distinction....loud ?....ohhh yes, but never noisy !...in that regard, they reigned supreme with tragic it didn't last much longer.

The best band in the world.

(Circa 1977/1978) I can still hear my mother screaming at me to turn that **** down.

P.S. I didnt listen to her.

The most important part of the sound of ACDC is not even audible. Malcolm’s Beast through that Marshall wall

Long time fan. What an amazing treasure to find here on YouTube. This is awesome. From reading the comments, sounds like this performance was last minute and a replacement for another previously scheduled band (Sensational Alex Harvey Band) but either way the majority of the audience should be removed from venue. What a bunch of wankers as they say in the UK.

Amazing, what a front man Bon Scott was and the whole band was great then, still is.

I keep coming back to get my fix of this. I can't get over what an absolutely fantastic moment that must have been for the guy* at 31:09!! I bet he ate out on that moment for years!!
His Hero, there with him, and he didn't miss a beat, all while he was...imitating his Hero!
Honestly, things like that were only possible in the 70s.
Love the British audience: the 2 girls refusing a kiss (kicked themselves for years after no doubt!). All sitting. And all the blokes looking like my 2 newly- qualified Science teachers in my S.E London Comprehensive, circa 1974!!! Absolutely fantastic experience
*hope this guy has shown this vid to his grandkids!!

I recorded this from the FM Radio in `77 and was a favourite cassette for many, many years. Great to see the film of it now!

That OPENING!! When a group can pump out this much energy with just bass, drums and a bit of vocal, it's powerful. They had such a tight rhythm section, extreme economy of sound. Less is more and they made every single note count here, each note is like a speeding train of energy

I LOVE THESE KINDS OF INDOOR LIVE PERFORMANCES MORE BECAUSE THERE MORE INTIMATE AND DISTORTED.
