What’s the difference between aggregate and personal Data

Показать описание
Connected car data can be personal or aggregate. While all car data begins as data from individual cars, the sum of the data from many cars is anonymized and aggregated to gain crowdsourced insights. Aggregated data must be free of any personal identifiers. Personal data, however, must undergo compliance with consent and privacy regulations, such as The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
There are multiple applications for each personal and aggregate data. Personal data can be used by insurance companies or concierge services for the individual drivers. Smart cities require aggregate data to gain insights to implement better traffic management strategies. And some users, such as fleets, might require both personalized ad aggregate data.
