Please remember standard PPE when powder coating 16:15. Since the coating is a fine powder, it's easy to breathe in the particles. Other accidents are bonus content for us to enjoy, but please care for your lungs. We want to watch the channel for a long time!

Hmmv/7ton mechanic - The canopy is not intended to protect from roll over, she’ll flatten out if it ends up on the roof. I’d suggest at least adding an Hbar roll bar just inside it decides to play turtle.

If there's one thing I've learned from years of working on Humvees, it's that everything is designed the way it is for a particular reason, and that reason is usually dumb.

Please remember to use normal PPE when powder coating at 16:15. Because the coating is a tiny powder, the particles are easily inhaled. Other mishaps are bonus entertainment for us to appreciate, but please protect your lungs. We'd want to watch the channel for a long time!

Not only do you need rear suspension, but that belt whine is driving me crazy lol.

Guys, that long-exposure shot at 23:30 is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! I went back and watched it too many times… Love how its just casually thrown in there. Grind Hard easily has the highest production value of any channel that I watch. Kudos

Ethan
Military remember
Fizziks is the guy over in B company.
These were used by grunts and produced cheaply as possible then marked up for the military.
That steering part was probably designed to be a fail point to save a more complicated assembly.
Part break, grunt fix, fix simple, grunt can do. M rambling, just keep an eye on the parts further down the line.

Honest thought here, y’all are my favorite channel on Youtubby. Upgrading the shop as needed, still sticking true to the try, fail, improve mentality, all while being innovative and humble. Can’t beat it. Good work y’all!!

3:10 those connectors are called wago connectors. No those are not for prototyping. Yes they are used for wiring houses, low voltage, and basically everything. Yes it has a lower resistance than wire nuts. Yes its safer and easier than wire nuts in every way :)

I'm really digging all the humvee customization videos. It's great to see what can be done with one of those vehicles because I've always liked the look of them.

All of the wires on the humvee and most army equipment aren't color coded but numbered. To trace the wire problems, look for the silver tag that is near the connector, and follow the numbers. You can get the manuals, and it's a hell of a lot easier to troubleshoot military than civilian.

I've been driving HMMWVs for 20 years. I have more experience with them than most. And you're right, they're really difficult to truly get stuck! Especially with a winch. I tied one to a tree, drove uphill and sunk it to the frame in sand. Once unhooked, it walked right out to the top of the hill.
