Rumbellion 2022 with Dub FX, Skinnyman, Kiko Bun, Gardna, Ras Demo, Dr Meaker, Uncle Dugs

London’s hottest reggae, dub, drum and bass and jungle event returns this September at the new home of EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) in Dalston for an evening of LIVE performances and banging rum cocktails from Pirate’s Grog Rum.

On Saturday 3rd September, Rumbellion will be hosting their annual gathering, featuring a stellar line-up of the UK’s best reggae, dub, jungle and d’n’b acts including Dub FX, Skinnyman, Kiko Bun, Gardna, Catching Cairo, Ras Demo aka Demolition Man, Dr Meaker, Uncle Dugs, Shumba Youth, Daddy Nature and more. Expect live singers, rappers, MC’s, saxophonists, circus performers, special guests and a heavy flow of RUM!

Headline act, Dub FX, is a world-renowned street performer and recording artist from Melbourne, Australia. He’s renowned for pioneering heavy electronic dub style beats on the streets using only his voice and a loop station. He shot to fame after his performance of ‘Love Someone’ on the streets of Bristol was uploaded to YouTube, which has received more than 30 million plays. He creates intricate reggae, hip hop, jazz and drum and bass rhythms and has been a firm fixture on the festival scene for years now with his formidable live performances.

But it doesn’t stop there, with eight hours of live music from top acts in the UK reggae and drum and bass scene, including legendary UK rap artist, Skinnyman, reggae front man Kiko Bun and Bristol MC and host extraordinaire Gardna will be joined by North London vocalist Catching Cairo, you’ll be sure to feel the festival vibes.

The event is set to kick off with the acclaimed Pirate’s Grog Rum Tasting from 6.30-8pm, which will see pirates, reggae-heads and rum lovers unite to sample the full line-up of Pirate’s Grog’s award-winning rum range. Join the antics to find out which one will be your new favourite tipple.
