Mitt Romney: "corporations are people". Good, let's tax and prosecute them like people.

Corporations that manufacture overseas are foreign companies. And should pay high import taxes.

China investing a ginormous amour of money on infrastructure and growing real fast.
America “Meh. Let’s leave this to the free market. Might fix itself. It’s hard work anyway.”

Imagine if Trump actually did infrastructure... every road, bridge, school, factory would be named after Trump lol.

"This mangled, nonsensical, dog's breakfast of a statement . . ." Wow. A Krystal classic! I will remember that phrase forever.

If Mitch can't see raising funds from the most productive, just exactly whom does he wish to raise funds from?

Soak the rich!
While you're at it, shave off a few hundred billion of the bloated military budget, the ~$750 billion/year budget.
*Pay back the crumbling middle class!*

2016 Trump would’ve promised to deliver a bigger and better infrastructure deal than that of the opposition. But something happened to him. McConnell and the establishment turned him into a boomer Republican

Can you imagine how much Trump could have actually gotten done without the heavy interference of Congress, MSM, social media billionaires, etc. I mean, he was fighting off impeachment basically on day-one. While COVID was creeping in, he had a Congress trying to throw him out. I think had people not be so deep in their feelings, he'd have gotten so much more done.

From 2017 to the end of 2020 the growth of the economy represented by the GDP was as follows: in 2017 was 2.33%, in 2018 was 3.0%, and in 2019 was 2.6%. I am not including the growth of 2020 which was -4.27%. The economic growth is basically driven by investments, but the growth under Trump was really weak, which suggests that Trump's tax cut had a very weak impact on the growth and the economy. In addition, despite Trump's tariffs on China, the US international trade Ballance was in deficit, because the Tariffs damaged the US export industry and cost both American consumers and producers huge money because they were the ones who paid Trump's Tariffs to the US government rather than China. Finally, Trump feels very bad because before 2016 he was attacking all previous presidents for not rebuilding the US infrastructure and was saying many times that the US infrastructure was as worse as in Third World Countries. Accordingle, Trump promised the American people to rebuild the infrastructure. But he did not do nothing for the infrastructure. Now, when Biden tries to fix whatever possible, Trump starts attcking Biden's plan and forgot that his tax cut was hoarded (not invested) by the wealthy people.

Corporations higher taxes will always pass it on to you and me. Just take all the loop holes so they pay taxes.

When Big business and millionaires mobilize against you, you know you are doing something right. It is a mediocre bill at best, but those people are freaking put because taxes. How do you plan of paying off our debt without raising taxes?

This is crazy... Raising corporate taxes will cost jobs. Companies will leave. Ireland is at 12percent. Whats the incentive to stay in the USA?

Absolutely spot on from both of the hosts

There is no such thing as a Corporate Tax..The Corporate Tax angle is not a tax on Corporations at all, it's ridiculous, EVERY economist in the world admits Corp Taxes just get passed on to consumers, PERIOD. It's why Sweden cut their's years ago to below that of the US.

The corporate tax affects our small business as well, more so, because we don't have tax shelters. It effects the prices for consumers and my store as well because the price of goods will go up. You are very mistaken in your analysis.

Totally perplexed....if you look at the stimulus, a small % goes toward covid....most of which is going to anything outside covid needs. If you look at the infrastructure bill it goes to little in regards to infrastructure. So why is the focus on what Trump thinks versus what the actual bill will do. I heard nothing on the current actual bill in terms of benefits, real benefits other than its popular.
