WPTY/WATN ABC 24/Local 24 id promo montage 1991 to 2022

From 1991 and 2020, here is a series of WPTY and WATN promos and bumpers from the Fox-turned-ABC affiliate in Memphis, TN. All copyrights of Chase, Renaissance, Clear Channel, Newport, and Nexstar, and Tegna acknowledged. WPTY signed on in 1978 as an independent station and later served as Memphis's second Fox affiliate following WLMT. In 1995, WPTY became the ABC affiliate, switching with WHBQ, which became a Fox O&O station. The earliest ones are from the station's last days as a Fox affiliate and the later ones are all from August 2020 shortly before the station adopted the Tegna graphics.

In terms of subchannels, WPTY airs Laff, Cozi, Twist, True Crime, Quest, Comet, and Charge on its subchannels.

Also WPTY picked up a secondary affiliation with The WB on October 4, 1999 airing the network’s primetime programming from 11pm-1am and as a result WPTY had the branding The WB on ABC 24 Latenight. WPTY’s sister station and UPN Affiliate WLMT 30 would carry The WB Affiliation secondary beginning in the Fall 2003 Season until September 2006 when WLMT would become a CW Affiliate.
