A lot of people say that they want someone of different race or sex as President, but that shouldn't be the reason you vote for them. It should be based on the policies and beliefs they support. I honestly don't even pay attention to politics until the candidates have been narrowed down further though.

the thing that bothers me isnt that its 'racism' or whatever. its that these people are presidential candidates and they are focusing on gender and skin color, rather than, you know... POLICY AND IDEAS!!!
Bernie Sanders could be as white as Saturn's moon Enceladus for all I care, I'm voting for him based on his ideas and policies, not the color of his god damn skin.

People should vote for someone based on what they plan to do once elected and how trustworthy they are, and their skin color and gender should be the last of their fucking worries...

Yes, there is not a lot od diversity, but I vote for the policies they have to offer. As a college student and was in poverty of a few years on my life, I choose Bernie Sanders. Diversity would be great but with this. You have to look at their policies and where they stand. Even before they started running, you have to see where they stand for.
