Ik people don't rate Ferran, but I think Flick trying him on the left isn't right for him. I think having Raphinha staying on the left and putting Ferran in the 10 might be the solution for him, it allows him to shift toward that right half space that he prefers when Raphinha goes central to the left half space and he can make those diagonal runs out wide like Olmo to break the oppositions back line, he can rotate with kounde and yamal and when he's in central areas make runs in behind beyond Lewandowski, he's decent on the ball as well and can play the right passes so him in an advanced midfield position isn't to farfetched if Raphinha can do it and I think it's more balanced for the team, suits the profiles better and keeps our threats where they want to be. I wish Torre got some game time because he could fit right in but maybe he isn't too sharp, playing eric pedri and casado is the safe route but pedri in the 10 is much more controlled than it is dynamic, and putting raph in the 10 makes the left a bit less sharp, I just hope whatever Flick decides pays off and the team comes away with a win to start strong because I don't want us to play Bayern while having a 1 or 0 points because then a negative result against them could completely derail us.

There has to some reasons we don't know. 1 month ago narrative around was " IS SIGNING OF DANI OLMO NECESSARY? ", Olmo will take away minutes of Fermin, playing time, now look everyone prefers Olmo over Fermin and Torre.
