I got the rainbow recently and when I got it we cleaned the house the day before. So the house was already clean. Even when my brother came back from school and he saw me using the rainbow to vacuum he said we cleaned the house yesterday already. And omg I was surprised of how much dirt still came off, 4 full buckets, and you can feel how much the house got cleaner. I am happy that we got it.

I use the Rainbow my parents bought in the 70's and it still works perfectly and replacement parts (if needed) are still available. My next door neighbor has the Dyson, and brought hers over and vacuumed my rug with it. I was impressed! I went over the rug again with my Rainbow and it took out more dirt the Dyson missed. A week later we did the reverse, I vacuumed first with the Rainbow and again using the Dyson. The Dyson didn't pick up anymore dirt. Who knows?

Have you tried vacuuming with the Rainbow and then going over the same area with the Dyson? I had a Rainbow demonstration at my home. I went over the area with my Kirby and was able to pull up all the dirt the Rainbow missed.

Do a reverse test, first the Rainbow an then the Dyson. You're in for a surprise 😉. Any vacuum cleaner will find something on the floor after cleaning with any other v.c. That's because no v.c. is perfect, regardless of the attachment/surface.

Pro tip: Put the hose up to your ear to know when you’re done with an area.
