A value-added reseller, or VAR, is what it sounds like -- a company that resells third-party products with added value. “Added value” often refers to things like software customization, installation services, or professional services like consulting or design. Working with a VAR has many benefits, but some challenges as well.

Very interesting statement. Why do you think that VARs would be replaced with MSPs? Or you are considering only the cloud based business? In many ISV situations VARs are still a great channel and MSP's business model happens to be much pricier to maintain. In our current economical state, I would argue that VARs have a better chances of survival.

so im intervieweiong for a var tomorrow any tips on what to ask about why this video exists ?? i imagine they don't think MSPs should replace VAR
