The ACT has recorded 30 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of active cases in the territory to 167. Only 13 of the 30 new cases were in quarantine for their entire infectious period. 11 were infectious in the community and the government is still assessing the other six cases. 25 of the new cases are linked to other known cases or exposure sites. Four people with the virus are in hospital, with one in intensive care.

There are now just under 400 exposure sites in the ACT, including a construction site and a public service building –the Australian Maritime Safety Authority’s head office.
