I did the same thing, teaching my son to drive empty parking lots to practice parking. He got his permit and then on the road. He is 24 and doing well. We are in Maryland. You can do it, YaYa!

She will catch on a lot quicker if y’all get a smaller regular car. My mom and brother was trying to teach me in their Camaros and challengers and they were just so much more harder to learn in. As soon as they put me in a smaller car I caught on fast and got my license within 2 weeks

I remember I was learning to drive. I learned to park forwards, backwards, and parallel allll in a school parking lot. My uncle found some cones and we used those to learn to parallel park. All I did was drive around the lot in circles and then he got out the car and let me drive alone.

Good job YAYA ! When you turn left or right don’t cross your hands. Hold the wheel lightly. The wheel will turn back itself when you make your slight turn.
