The second I saw her on screen and interacting with Joe, I completely fell in love with her character and I loved every single moment with her and Joe. They’re absolutely cute and I would like to have a love like theirs ❤

This film reminds me of Chariots of Fire. Same theme; an athlete in college pursuing his dreams and winning Olympic gold. I wish there was a home coming in this film like Chariots of Fire. It would've been a perfect ending to see Joe put his gold medal around Joyce's neck. And then before the credits, say that they did get married in real life. Rantz earned a chemical engineering degree from the university and worked for Boeing for 35 years following his retirement from rowing, contributing to the invention of a dust-free workspace known as a "safe room". Interestingly enough Boeing is located in Seattle.
