I was walking my dog, I felt dizzy and got confused on the path, my dog took control and walked me the rest of the way home. Thankfully he was in tune with me and sensed my state. And so clever to know the way 🏡 home.

Had an accident at work I’m so scared it’s so stressful. These videos are so helpful and scary at the same time. I’m an emotional wreck.

For those currently watching w a concussion: MCT oil, omega 3 supplements, & 2000-3000 mg of vitamin c help a ton! Also make sure to eat legumes, salmon, pumpkin seeds, nuts, & drink ur protein shakes!! Ik it can b Hard to keep an appetite but w protein shakes u get all the protein & nutrients u need. So make sure to actually eat well balanced meals but if u r too nauseas or full to eat, have a protein shake

Treatment for concussion - good food, meditation, message, excersise, limited tv. Concussion should be good in two weeks, for some people it takes time because they get stressed and have negative thought that can also aggravate the pain. Stay relaxed and everything is gonna good.

This is my 4th concussion. My concussion and migraine doctor said exactly all of this. The vitamins and and diet work amazingly. I've had chronic migraines since I was a kid due to concussions and the brain fog went away, I wasn't as forgetful, I had a better understanding of what was going on around me. It really did wonders

There’s a middle ground between resting in a dark room for a month and going on walks and runs the first week of having a brain injury. It’s important to refrain from exercise that jar the brain such as aerobics, jogging etc- going for a easy walk, some stretching or gentle yoga is good. But definitely no rush or reason to engage in any exercise except gentle fluid movements such as light walking, stretching and limit screen time and reading ( not avoid altogether but limited)

Yeah, I cocooned for three months, and haven’t been back to work in a year, this explains a lot.

Don't underestimate deep breathing if you are getting headaches, honestly one of the only things that has helped me

I've just recovered from my concussion yesterday. I got my concussion after arguing with my mom and i went outside and punch my head. After 4 hours i woke up and i have a severe pain in my head i was nauseous i vomited many times. Just be positive always and rest is important stay hydrated exercise if you feel your symptoms just rest do some inhale exhale stay away from depressing stuff watch something that can make you positive it can make you feel better. Talk with your friends and family they can help you get rid of your concussion. And don't forget to Pray ❤

Thanks for the great video! I fell today on ice and don't remember falling. I remember getting up and there was blood everywhere. I bashed my head and went to the ER. 10 staples to close the gash. Got a concussion. Not sure how long I was out for on the ground outside. So this is why I'm here. No symptoms except pain from the fall on my head. Hoping that's all I get.

I find this interesting. I just came home from hospital with concussion and they told me to lay low for while but when I do, I feel worse. I like this idea much better, I don't wanna risk staying in bed too long😝😝😝

Great tips thank you. Im getting more proactive with my own recovery and getting out there every day, baby steps. Rest, get better, think you are recovered, try to return to normal life, turn into a pumpkin within an hour, rest, recover, do it all over again. Vicious circle. Clean home cooked whole foods, supplementation, light exercise, sauna, i wanna get a ball to “juggle” or throw in a circle, work on hand eye coordination, i wanna get small hurdles, work on stepping over them, throw a basketball, stuff like that

As an animation student the whole screen nausea thing is frightening. I may have to drop out if my symptoms don't improve this week but I think this advice is good. I need to reintroduce things gradually. I might watch some tv tonight and start drawing on paper but not animating just yet.
Its so scary to go from one of the most active periods of my career to just like couching but its what the doctor ordered. Thanks for giving me permission to get out the dark room it helped.

Thank you, for this no nonsense, enabling presentation.

Been resting for first day after blow to the head and going to take a walk soon, upon your recommendation.

Green tea helps with dizziness, and taking vitamin c and magnesium.

Also, taking your advice and trying to eat clean and cut out the crap!

Thanks, again, and hope everyone gets better, sooner 🙏🏽

Reading comments and watching this after a concussion. My main symptom today is a headache that extends to behind my ear. The comments have given me hope of recovery. ❤

Thank you so much for this help. While I appreciate my Hospital help...I was only told everything verbally and so of course retained NOTHING to memory. Thank you for sharing this. -Canadian/Ontario

THANK YOU!!! You gave me better advice than my own doctor. Who just waved my concussion away as if it was nothing with don't think too much and just rest, and I just left like ehm ok??, feeling extra lost. I am really grateful for your video and that I came across your advice. This makes so much sense for what I am experiencing and I finally know what I actually can do for full recovery. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I suffered a concussion 2 years ago, still healing, and although my doctor has restricted me I had to continue with my life, the best I could, because I have children and my husband works full time. And I've tried all the natural things people are listing for 2 years and we eat very healthy always. I can say personally none of these things have helped or made any difference with how I feel/my symptoms but lead to me severely injuring myself a year later due to dizziness from my concussion. I was walking downstairs and had a severe dizzy spell and fell from the top, 20 steps. From a person that has to live their daily life with a concussion I can say do not put yourself out there too soon, DO NOT push yourself to get back to whatever your normal routine was, DO rest, DO take it extremely easy until you are healed, DO focus on things that bring about peace and helps keep you motivated during this really hard time. I did not fully follow my neurologist and neuro-psychologist instructions at first and once I did start following his instructions and restrictions I started to feel better, still have a ways to go but listening to my doctor made the biggest difference compared to myself back into my pre-concussion routine.

Great video! It's always amazing to me how gradual controlled exercise is the best cure for practically any physical situation. I'm thrilled to test those out and see myself getting better!
