Converting the LNB to the most powerful antenna on Earth to bring HD terrestrial channels

How many people have ever heard that you hook up a cable and it just starts .you have to scan those the channels .they were either scanned before or their pre-recorded so don’t believe everything you see.

2 things, first I cant believe this works as the metal housing would short the perforated fins
Second, I cant believe this guy didn't slice his fingers with the knife blade especially when opening the component compartment.

A crude bowtie antenna, as the others have previously said - It can't work, both sides of the bowtie are shorted together because of the LND housing.
If he could insulate both sides of the wire mesh from the body of the LNB, it would actually work but would have low gain, as there is no rear reflector. He got close - but no cigar this time.

Interesting idea but there are a few questions. First, what is the distance between your "most powerful antenna" and the nearest terrestrial transmitter and what is the transmitting power? What is the frequency of TV channels you receive? Which coding standard is in use (DVB-T, DVB-T2, other)? And last but not least, what test results do you have from TV signal tester (PWR, MER)?

It is not for satellite dish receiver but i think it is for Uhf or Vhf antenna

Just insulate the main wire from the aluminum housing together with the metal fin connected to it and the antenna works fine

Hahaha....Connecting that coax to those 2 fins on the LNB will create a dead short. Both fins are connected to the metal case.

Can this be used for receiver ?
If we use it for receiver ، don't we need a dish anymore ?
Because the waves gather on the LNB, after hitting the dush and then go to the receuver
