Die Natur wehrt sich egal in welcher Gestalt.Ein Klassiker als Spielfilm mit einem sehr aktuellem Hintergrund. Die Natur braucht uns nicht, aber wir die Natur. 🙏

That mixture of fear, bravery, determination and pain, in Henry cele's eyes. What an actor.

I've seen the lions remnants in the Chicago natural history museum. Though their size is diminished from shrinkage, they are still quite large. I would not want to meet them when they we're alive!

I absolutely loved this movie. Several times I tried to get my dad to see it because he enjoyed not just big cats but also Michael Douglas. He couldn't be persuaded because of the thriller/startle features in the movie.

In Africa, whenever it comes too predators you NEED to have keen eyes. Spotting Lions or Leopards is really difficult if don't have good eyesight. For example: when Mahina looks out into the grasslands, he's checking for movement that isn't the wind. And he spots the Lion, but can't confirm it

In a 1999 interview with SFX magazine, director Stephen Hopkins described his experience making this movie as "a true nightmare". Michael Douglas, who was producing the film, decided at last minute to play Remington. But the working relationship between Douglas and Hopkins was very tense even before filming. Douglas had the movie completely re-cut in post production, removing 45 minutes to give him more screen time. It explains the plot holes and story lines that go nowhere. Hopkins was not happy with the final cut of the film. And Remember, Remington wasn't a real person in fact it was Patterson who killed both lions. This movie had great potential but it has serious plot holes and story lines that go nowhere. The comments calling it a masterpiece are funny.

An epic teaming of historically Oscar nominated superpowers, behind, and in front of the camera.

From music to sound, to cinematography, to screenwriting, and more....

The ‘Jaws’ of lion movies... is based on one of the creepiest stories ever told, in natural history.

The Ghost, and the Darkness.

Remington is pure fictional. Patterson killed the maneaters. I recommend reading Peter capstick books

Tsavo twins, but there's even worse than the tsavo twins, and is the champawat tigress or the real Shere Khan how i call her, she killed over 400 humans, that surprised me, he wasn't a fictional character, Shere Khan was real.
