Markus videos always bring out two emotions in me. 1 - "My god, this guys has way too much money", and 2 - "Damn, if I had this sort of money, I'd be buying the exact same things he is!". Keep doing what you're doing mate!

I've been re-searching online about battery powered LED lights for outdoor photography for a week. This is the best video I can find, practical, on the spot, fair and complete. Thanks for making this video and this is tremendously helpful.

Holy crap you’ve got more than professional gaffers, maybe even more than a rental company or an average production house. MarcusPix has a literal motion picture studio in his freakin “basement” if you wanna call it that - I LOVE this channel thanks for being so great 👏

Lupo is definitely the star of the show I loved their lighting 😍😍😍

Almost 60??? That's CRAZY! You two are a GREAT-LOOKING couple, and I would have guessed early thirties... at the latest! WOW! And thanks for the LED comparisons! In your latest giveaway, it looks like I did right asking for the Aputure LED light. Those things look awesome! The Stellas, which I'd never heard of before, look great, too! Markus, thanks for taking your time to post these helpful an entertaining videos. I'm always looking forward to your next one. By the way... FIRST!

This was SUPER helpful!!! Loved it! Also loved when you blinded yourself and had your eyes closed when testing! That's dedication! 💯😂

Such great videos. It is like film school without all the expense, plus a lot less boring than school!!! Your short segment on the color temperature of lights and bluing of skin tones really drives the point home. TY. Yep this video says how a Pro packs his lights for vacation. Also how MarkusPix overpowers the sun. So great; well I've said that already. My light for now is the Ulanzi W49LED I use three, but after watching this just may get one more. Batteries are Energizer 2300MAH rechargeables. My goal for portability is to have it all fit in a small day pack sized camera backpack. OOPS here I thought new video. (New Enough) Well YouTube sent me here so here I am, Plus good photography instruction is timeless. TY :)

Thank you Markus for teaching us so much about photography. You reference getting older, BUT you look like a surfer guy to me. And I'm so happy to see your eyes lately in your vids! 👍

Hey Markus, thx for taking the time to put this one together. Lights are always as difficult decision especially since the introduction of the continuous LED revolution. I truly luv lights, and it would be easy for me to spend a fortune on lights as I see you have over the years. I'm looking at upgrading my lighting system for next year so this was very helpful :)

Thanks Markus! Very informative for me that basically knows nothing about this type of lighting.

I've so far only seen a couple of your videos, but you have a "warmth" in your presentation that makes each video a joy to learn from (I built my own lights, mainly for indoors using 50W LED floods, softboxes and a 4x 55W CFL fixture similar to Kino) Never really considered balancing LED and daylight lamps. NB: I'm also considering trialing 38W DoubleD / butterfly lamps in softbox. Again, thanks for the interesting vids.
