What a great series. I drive 1/10 scale but I really enjoyed watching you build this model. I’ve always wanted a Mini-Z but I might pick up a k989 to try first after seeing your videos.

I’ve just bought one of these ( to race my 4 year old around the house ), ordered the carbon chassis and alloy upgrades . Now to work my way through your list and build a crazy little brushless weapon

Hmm...when I've got the cnc up and running again maybe I'll try my hand at making a few upgrade parts for these things. They REALLY need better steering angle, so I'm thinking making a whole new steering setup that fits in with the stock diff case and such, or perhaps a full swap with diff casing as well may be in order... anything to get it to u-turn in just over twice its width like a real car can.

That’s already a 1/10 scale touring price. But in all honesty, not bad. I like it. Through 3D printing, I’m creating a rwd pan car based on a 1/32 scale mini 4wd. It’s using a drone brushless outrunner motor, but the problem with it is that the drone esc lack braking and reverse function. I’m thinking, I should try that esc.

Hello, I am going to upgrade to a brushless motor and ordered the wltoys extra pinion set. It looks like the pinions do not have a set screw and press on the motor. Have you had any problems with the pinion slipping or do they have a D shape like the spur gear? Also do you know what pitch the pinions are and would you recommend a mini z aluminum pinion set with set screw? Thanks and thank you for doing these videos.

Hello to you. I love your videos. I have been following you for several years now. Your work is of superb quality. Just like you, I love Wltoys 1/18. I have several. I will launch it in the design of a new model in Brushless motor. How many KV do you recommend for these small machines? Thank you very much for your answer. 🤟😎

do you prefer this brushless setup over your old hobbywing 1625 brushed setup?

what about the xc-10 esc setup and surpass 6000kv motor? how does it compare to hobbywing?

which of these setups would you recommend for small track carpet racing and some drifting with different tires?

I bought two different Rocket Esc / brushless combos one red one black couldn't get either to work. Then I got that hobby wing 18a ESC and hooked it to the rocket brushless motors I have tried the red and black motor neither seem to be working correctly. They seem to sputter or not get up to speed. I was wondering if you have any ideas what I am doing wrong? I am matching the #s from the ESC to the #'s on the motors. Would you recommend anything? Or even a whole new combo set? eBay and Amazon have package deals but I am afraid I am going to end up with the same issue. I have the hobylink transmitter and receiver w gyro and love them. I am Just looking for a little more pep on the long straightaway then I am getting from the 130 motors. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I am also trying to keep my battery plugs the same I ended up with lots of 7.4v 600mah I use them in several different models. Is the scorpion still what I should try or anything a little cheaper I can get the more bang for my buck. Appreciate you reading my comment and hopefully getting back to me. I have watched and used lots of your advice over the year and a half I have been messing around with the wltoys 1/28 platform thanks for all the great content I am watching you from southern California so don't normally use bangood but if you think they have what I need I will do it. Just want more on the top speed but don't want to lose the quick starts. Thanks again

Hello and thanks again for your immense passion and for the time you spend! I wanted to ask you why my engine gets hot after a few minutes of driving ... I state that I have not yet cleaned the plastics and not even added grease to the differentials as you indicated in the first video. Is this the only reason?
