ALL IN At Level 1: One Of The Most OP Items In League of Legends History

Today, let's talk about the most overpowered item to ever exist in league of legends. This item broke the balance of the game, broke the patch notes, and broke op champs into being impossible for league of legends to balance. Many low elo players could win with starting this item, and champions and fighters such as Kha'Zix Riven and Renekton were the perfect mid and top laners for climbing and showed how to climb in low elo. Let's talk about Fort Pot, otherwise known as Elixir of Fortitude.

The real "most op thing at lv1" ?
1% crit rune.

Let's be honest, we all run with that single crit rune and if it worked in an early trade it was the most hilarious\annoying thing in the game.

I absolutely love filming with the Deer/Elk on summoner's rift... I am thinking I will use it a lot more for transition screens and card screens when I am showing graphics. What do you guys think? Should we give the Elk a name? LOL

Edit: also im stupid the pilfered potion of rouge not rogue. It's french for red. Sorry for that I am dumb brain

As a newer player, this is one of my favorite series, because I love learning about the lore of the game.

"This ONE ITEM single handedly broke the game"
I'm starting to see a pattern with these videos.

I just had a feeling that this would be your nexg video, even though I started playing at s4 by the time the old pots were already removed, I have seen a lot of videos talking about this strat. But yours was by far the best, as always

I'm pretty sure it's even more hilarious before because I remember OLD old masteries giving extra 40 starting gold (475 gold was starting gold before) so you had like 515 gold starting AND thanks to that you could start elixir of fortitude and the attack speed one at level 1 and cheese so hard.

if i remember too, the time this became popular was also around the time you could start 13 (12?) health potions in a lane and never be bullied out because of the massive HP regen, so you'd just pick someone beefy like Garen and go top with pots and just never die, it was a decent counter to the all in strategy if i remember, but then in the same patch they made the elixer cost 100 more and they made it so pots were limited to 5 at a time.

As weird as that sounds: I kind of miss these completly chaotic preseason patches. The Ranked Reset was incoming anyhow, so everyone chilled a bit more and finding all these gamebreaking things Riot didnt simply expect to happen was really fun. The meta could shift within days, because someone found something even more broken and we all just played along, so Riot could gather data for the incoming nerfs...
This also led to you as a player reinventing yourself and your approach to the game. Things you learned for 9 Months (like Warding Patterns on an unlimited Wardaccount) would become useless, but that also kept the game fresh and exciting.
Nower days all you get is Turretplating and one Rune, that might or might not be OP, so let's all try out that one rune...

I still remember the good old Elixir days. Riven and kha'zigs weren't even a thing back then and contrary to the video they were never able to one shot. They got unfairly strong, yes but they took at least 2 combos to kill you. back in the day the elixir was even stronger. it gave 20(or even 25 not sure) AD and was discovered by, of all people, shaco players. Back then Shaco used to have a granted 150% dmg crit on his vanish. With elixir of fortitude any squishy was literally one shot and in combination with ignite even tankier champions died at level 1. who cares about jungle, just sit in a bush, wait for somebody to set a foot into the lane and oneshot them till ur fed and carry the game :-D My record back in the day was 3 ganks and 3 kills within the first 3 minutes of the game. This led to a series of shaco nerfs and made him one of the most infamous champions ever.

I remember seeing Trick just camping bushes at the start with Tiger, Ignite and Red pot to almost always guarantee a kill and then following that strat to climb all the way to high gold from bronze.

I can't believe I'm doing this. It's not rogue, it's rouge.
