Hilarious description of your broken mixer too. I burst out laughing, as you described the sputtering sound it was making upon power up! =D

E5000 Ultra and E6400 Ultra are extremely similar, especially if you upgrade the E5000. It comes more vanilla out of the box, compared to the more feature rich E6400 Ultra, which is packed more from the get go, but uses same expansions, same memory, hard drives and even OS. I still have my fully loaded E5000 Ultra packed up in the basement, with dual scsi connections, all inputs and outputs, maxed ram, 20GB hard drive and RFX processor etc. Very warm and phat sounding unit. The filters are second to none.

interesting to hear about your experiences with those old mixing desks, had no idea the Topaz was no good. I very briefly had a Mackie 8 bus a few years ago, it was a nice mixer but way too big for my room, those things are huge! Had that signature early Mackie overdrive distortion when you hit the channels hard which was nice though and 4 band eq with sweepable mids which is something I wish they'd do on smaller desks

2:16 no excuse to sell 'untested' really, you only need a fucking kettle lead from a computer or something

As a request for a new sample pack would you do an akai style one like chopped up breaks on the akai maybe some test tone basses etc and would you put in some of the ragga vocals you used in old tunes ? Because it’s hard to get samples like that even if there not royalty free I’d love to have some of those, but when you get time bro cause iknow it’s hectic atm lol
