I thought after watching the debate that if I didn’t know my Bible very well then I’d maybe be swayed into thinking that Alex had won, but thankfully I could see thru his very eloquently stated arguments to know that many things he said were missing contextual backing.

For someone who knows the Bible so well, Alex so clearly misses the heart of each passage. Probably bc he’s so set on disbelief. God I pray his eyes be opened.

why does Alex ignore the “future tense (may they be in us)” of us joining God while Jesus is already joined.

To me, Jesus already being with God is a critical feature that Alex just skates over.

Hi Nate, I want to thank you for this incredible video. For a few days I've been kind of wanting to watch this debate but also not, and at the same time having truly serious doubts with my faith. I don't know why I seem to link it in my mind with this debate. When I saw your vid I knew I had to watch it. Actually, funny thing, yesterday I found my "Wise Disciple" -shirt and put it on, all the while kind of having my "rational mind" in angst trying to argue why NOT to wear it. Anyway watching your analysis of Alex's arguments... they kind of remind me of my mind trying to reason myself into not believing or not trusting God?

So uh... I'm not sure what's even the point of this message other than I felt that you breaking down those arguments of disbelief from Alex also seemed to break those down from me also. So I want to thank you for that. Praying for you, and for Alex and David, too. You're doing such a great work.

This was actually a more worthwhile than the actual debate. I just find O'connor to focus on individual passages, while choosing to ignore the wider sense of what you get from the Gospels.

Just from the beginning clip you show Alex is misquoting Jesus. Jesus did not say David worked on the Sabbath. I have no interest in analyzing inaccurate debates. He lost automatically to me because he is inaccurate.

I thought O'Conner could have been clearer and more upfront with his argument and what he wanted to do with it in his opening. Wood was much clearer and easier to follow.

In the questioning I could see Wood getting to the answer but he didn't do it quickly or clearly enough.

Hopefully D.Wood will put out a video talking about what he could have done better.
