Sabine Moore - Sound Drawing Performance (Zīmētā skaņa)

"Sound Drawing Performance" - by interdisciplinary artist Sabīne Moore.

The artist creates a large-format drawing that simultaneously functions as a real-time oscillator and synthesizer. The sound is generated by both the drawn image,and the movement during drawing. The artist uses oversized pencils with graphite that is naturally conductive. The sound modulations are determined by the nature of the motion.

This video was recorded in Micēlijs gallery in 2017, during Sabine Moore's exhibition featuring 12 drawings created during different "Sound Drawing Performances" over 2015-2017.
