American Airlines Airbus A321neo (A321NX) Trip Report | Main Cabin Extra

Hello, all! Thank you so much for watching this video! I was fortunate to fly on a brand new American Airlines Airbus A321neo (A321NX). This aircraft was registered N402AN, and was delivered on May 17, 2019. This aircraft entered service on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, and I flew this aircraft on Saturday, June 8, 2019! My flight was the 13th revenue cycle for this brand new bird!

Despite American's removal of IFE screens and the new slimline seat product, I found the seat to be surprisingly comfortable on my 2 hour flight to Dallas. I am looking forward to seeing more "Project Oasis A321's", which will take older A321's and refresh the interior so that they look like the neo! Overall, I loved the A321neo, and can't wait to be flying it more in the future!

WOOW!!! Really very great video!!! I am deeply in Love with the brandnew single-aisle Airbus A320/A321Neo airliners. But alone even the so called "Sharklets" looking so great at all brandnew Airbus planes. YEAH!! You will be perfectly right. These planes will be manufactured in Hamburg-Finkenwerder in the North of Germany. "easyJet Europe", "British Airways" and "Lufthansa" all have the Airbus A320Neo in their fleet. Good morning ladies and gentlemen from the flight deck this is your captain Drake speaking. I'll be assisted in my duties by first officer Charlie Sussman. Our flight time into DFW will be 1 hour 43 minutes from wheels up to touch down today, and we'll be flying at an altitude of 35, 000 feet. Current weather is reporting mostly cloudy skies, the temperature of 75 degrees. Overall we should have a fairly smooth flight, but always keep an eye on the seatbelt sign as the weather can be unpredictable. Those of you still boarding, when you've found your seats, please step out of the aisle and into your row of seats allowing the other passengers behind you to pass by. this will help expedite the boarding process for an on-time departure. On September, 8th 2024 for my very first time I was flown with a then just 3 weeks young "SWISS" Airbus A320neo from Zürich-Kloten (ZRH) in Switzerland to Düsseldorf Intl. (DUS) in Germany. The plane was registered as "HB-JDE" and allready was equipped with the brandnew "Airbus Airspace-Cabin, like the at JFK based "JetBlue" has eqipped it, s A321LR(N) planes for it, s transatlantic services to Paris (CDG) and London (LHR). Despite our flightr-time with just very short 50 min., netherelses I, ve enjoyed this flight soo pretty much. Indeed these big "LEAP"-Engines sounds a lot of quieter than the older (ceo( engines.

Those TV screens are not needed. Everyone has their own devices. As long as the WiFi is high quality and there are charging ports, the IFE screens become more of a hassle. Half the times, they don’t work. For long haul flights, yes to IFE screens. But domestically, I think AA has made a very wise decision in removing IFE screens.

The newest aircraft I flew on was a United Airlines Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner from SFO-EWR...I think it was on its 3rd revenue service!
