Pre ordered these and they are really great. Very forgiving on mis hits and minimal loss of distance but where they really shine is the sound and feel for an iron in this category. One of the tops out there and I have hit quite a few including the i525s and T300s. No issues with stopping power either. Glad that you and the little one got through “that thing” as well 💪

I have a set of the 2020 Cobra Forged Tec irons (in the one length setup) and they are a really fun setup. My only issue with them is that they have a thicker top line, but I understand that they aren't blades or anything like being said, they are a solid club and the newer model look a lot better.

Now for the next test mate.. titleist t200 or t300. Suggest you try using a low spin golf ball on both irons. You will be amazed on the distance you will get..

50 degrees descent angle! I'm not sure how that compares to a "normal" 5 iron but that is cratering the green - spin is almost secondary. And those saying these make the game too easy - that's the great thing about golf, you just play your own game. If someone wants to make their life a bit easier cause they don't have enough time to beat 100s of balls a week at the range but still have a good time with friends and family every once in a while more power to them. If you want to play forged blades and see how you measure up to a tour pro - more power to you. Live and let live.
