I never feel put together enough to wear something so classically classy (you can steal that awkward turn of phrase if you like) as a fougere, but I am happy to see you back at it. Not sure who authorized the sabbatical, but at least you’re back and the universe has achieved equilibrium.

The best of all time fougere/barbershop Galen! Great review buddy. I wonder is Sleight of Fern by Masque Milano has similarities with Invasion Barbare? seems same perfumer made it. 🤔

Gravitas pour homme
Amouage bracken
Creed viking
Penhaligons sartorial.

I have been meaning to aqcuire the following:
Tom ford beau de jour
Invasion barbare
Fougere royale

But now u made my choice abit clearer🎉

Hey Galen, the perfect fragrance for you would be something like " Barbarian d'Ange".
You looks like a combination of Caravaggio's Medusa and John the Baptist by Leonardo da Vinci.

Have you done a comparison with the older bottle to see if the scent is still the same. Some people on Fragrantica claim it has been reformulated.
