Synopsis: An arrogant movie star is forced to attend a weeklong festival celebrating The Andy Griffith Show.

Mayberry Man is an original family movie inspired by the 1960s classic TV series “The Andy Griffith Show” featuring a cast of Mayberry tribute artists. Starring Brett Varvel as Hollywood movie star “Chris Stone,“ Allan Newsome as “Floyd the Barber” and Rik Roberts as “Barney Fife” with a special appearance by Karen Knotts (daughter of Don Knotts).

Featuring the music of Earle Hagen from “The Andy Griffith Show.”

Executive Producer Dixie Griffith (daughter of Andy Griffith). Written & directed by Stark Howell and produced by Cort Howell (sons of actor Hoke Howell who played “Dud Wash” on The Andy Griffith Show). Co-produced by Greg Schell (son of Ronnie Schell who played “Duke Slater” on Gomer Pyle, USMC).

Filmed on location in Mount Airy, North Carolina (Andy’s hometown aka “the real Mayberry”) and Central Indiana.
