A story-driven experience about two doctors traversing through a dying man's memories to artificially fulfill his last wish.
Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.
Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.
Finding Paradise is the 2nd full episode of To the Moon's series. It follows the life of the doctors' new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle, and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature.

To the Moon taught me not to fear death. Finding Paradise taught me the meaning of life. I can't wait to see how the next one will forever change me.

I'd say Faye was an imago/representation of Colin's Anima. Everything he desired to be, yet he seemingly was/is. She went away when he arguably completed the process of 'integration'. This is alluding to the Jungian concept of individuation--more or less, each of us respectively have either an Animus/Anima. It is the perceived dream woman or man one projects onto the other. Really, an echo of what you desire to be is cast on the other. The sensation of 'love at first sight', is really when one's Animus/Anima comes into play. She gave him the courage to live his life to the truest potential, and she was perhaps his muse... which he later found within his wife. Yet, his longing never went away. The Anima/Animus is numinous after all. Such a figure transcends everything here. For men to be connected to their Anima, they are capable of yielding great powers of creativity... thence, she showed up just about the time he was playing the cello. It's rather fitting if one thinks about it, many musicians or poet fit with a bleeding heart is lead to create on the premise of cavorting that echo.

When we feel that sense of longing deep within ourselves, we project it outwards onto another individual. Hoping, idealistically that they would fulfill that longing. Yet, it still feels incomplete. We still long for the echo, of ourselves. For always, that beloved echo is borne from ourselves.

"Bestest Detectives (Reprise)" (01:31:25) just fills me with dread now every time I hear it. Ever since we got "A Reality Without Me" I can't hear it normally anymore. It might have been a goofy lil tune in TtM as you explore with Tommy and Sarah but like now it hints that we may be losing half of our dynamic duo of doctors very soon....

One day, An envoy appeared to an old man and said, "I'll let you go back to the moment of your life"
The old man, who was deeply troubled, said, "Let me go back to before I met you."
There may be regrets from life, but there may be regrets from the word 'regret'
If Colin didn't know Sigmund, he wouldn't have had to find regret in his life.

This OST list accompanied my entire final week, which brought calmness and tranquility to me. I really appreciated that I had encountered such a touching game with heartfelt BGM. I will come back when I feel lonely and misunderstood by others.

The amount of years that have passed since the release of *to the moon* are unbelievable... I feel like the day when i've first played it, when it was released, has been yesterday... These games have been with me during the last 1/3 of my 19 y.o. life. Thanks for everything, can't wait for the next part!

Time is a place captures the essence of the story so well. Such a powerful melody. And the scale theme is simply majestic. Really no words do it justice.

I was listening to this happily in the background, then the piano version of Time is a Place started and I totally lost it. The entire soundtrack is simply beautiful, but that song in particular really seems to speak to me.
