As a person who’s really into combat sports is fascinating how the martial arts we know and love all can be found in the natural world. Wrestling in many ways are similar to the grappling between bears. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can be seen on big cats with the bottom position kicking up and practically pulling guard. And Muay Thai clinch and knees are very similar to how kangaroos fight and kick. And ground and pound hammer fists can be seen from apes. It’s really interesting how humans are able to utilize all of these styles into our fights.
