I have to ask, why is congress allowed to trade stocks while they are in committee that was invented to keep an eye on such transactions ( insider trade ) while the rest of us who are not on such a committee are not ?
That is an unfair advantage ! And should be illegal to everyone .

Simplify the legislation on stock trading. Legislative, executive, and judicial members shall not and will not trade, buy, sell, or divulged any stock or stock information of any company or organization that they gain information positive or negative because of their participation in meetings, hearings, or committees. Bonafide evidence that this rule is broken, results in immediate expulsion from their body of membership.
