Choke is a gateway song to The Warning. Best power trio on the planet right now.

If you went through their catalog, it is apparent that their sound is basically classic hard rock with elements of punk, pop, grunge, and even some metal. The sound is familiar but unique. First band I went to see live in 40 years.

These 3 sisters have been honing their craft for over a decade. You could see their determination, drive, and dedication to their craft since the beginning

Not gonna be mad. They are 100% built on stadium-rock anthems… regardless of language the entire crowd will be singing along guaranteed.

I have seen the bass player all over social media due to her stage presence, but had not checked the band. Killer band, and all killer players

What I love about these ladies is that they definitely COULD arrange more complicated music if they wanted. But, they’re about feelings, energy and just rocking out. I admire that

As you observed, The Warning have the perfect formula to become a major rock band. Their sound is so powerful, yet not so complicated that they can captivate a fan base that is 12- 82 years old. Their cohesion and stage presence are a result of 10 years of dedication and passion to be the best rock band possible. Mission accomplished. Best band that I have heard in a couple of decades and that covers quite a few artists.

He is right, not disrespectful, it is one of the many thigs I love about the warning. Singable, knowable, memorable, rockable. Always slightly different flavor but enough to the foundation that works to make every damn song likeable and memorable sticking in your head and fun.

I was seeing Muse live last year, with Royal Blood and The Warning as the warm ups. I had never heard of The Warning before that, but i enjoyed their set the most of the three

Why would anyone be offended by an AC/DC comparison. The sisters know their rock history well and they've covered them before. That's why people love them. They know their hard rock history and are rooted in it but bring in a lot of flavors and spices from other genres which is why it always feels both familiar and fresh but always genuine

Michael, thanks for your reaction. I am 65 years old and while I still love the rock I grew up with, The Warning have become my all time favorite band. Currently they are ages 24, 22 and 19, with their 4th album due on June 28th. I LOVE every song from their first 3 albums. They write lyrics, often warning the world of problems they see in today's world. They deliver their messages with music, which I find has an infectious sound. I also love how every one of their songs sounds different, using many of the genres of rock that preceded them.

I was lucky enough to see them last Saturday at The Forum in Kentish Town, North London. What a band... An absolute pleasure to see them.... and they are so young.. their bass playing sister is 19!!! I've got jeans older than that. They are ones to watch.

4:35 Actually I think you're spot on with their sound and why people of a certain generation...love this band. Its no coincidence I am a huge fan of AC/DC and TW.

They're big fans of AC/DC! Their parents (yes, they're SISTERS) played them concert videos of AC/DC, Queen, Pink Floyd, etc. when they were super young. They also played Rock Band and all took piano lessons. They each naturally gravitated to their instruments: Daniela ("Dany") to guitar, Paulina ("Pau", rhymes with "Pow") to drums, and the youngest, Alejandra ("Ale", pronounced Ah-leh') on bass. Their dad transformed their basement into a quasi-studio ("The Warning Cave") and posted YouTube videos of them covering Metallica, GNR, Muse, etc. so their grandparents could see them. This was when they were ages 14, 12, 9. A cover of Enter Sandman went viral (Kirk Hammett even commented "that drummer kicks maximum ass"), they played "Crazy Train" on the Ellen DeGeneres show, and got checks from Ellen & Target Stores to attend a summer camp at Berklee in Boston (Pau and Ale had to audition for acceptance, being so young).

Since then they've recorded 2 LPs and an EP independently, and signed with Lava/Republic (Lorde, Greta Van Fleet) in 2020. "Choke" was the lead video from their Lava debut album "ERROR", but the pandemic caused them to cancel a planned 2020 tour. They have a second Lava record, "Keep Me Fed", dropping on June 28, and have released five songs and videos from it so far: "More", "S!CK", "Hell You Call A Dream", "Automatic Sun", and one Spanish song "Que Mas Quieres" ("What More Do You Want").

Suggestions for your next Warning song to explore would be the live video for Hell You Call A Dream, their explosive MTV VMAs performance of "Evolve", or the narrative video for "Que Mas Quieres", which was story-boarded and co-directed by Paulina!
