How to prevent potential EUC Fire?

While the number of incidents is relatively small compared to the millions of Electric Unicycles in use, it's still important to be aware of the potential battery fire:

1. For extreme riding always choose a high amperage cells.
2. Avoid regenerative braking on fully charged batteries.
3. Do not let water inside you battery packs.
4. Replace the batteries or get a new safe wheel as soon your battery stop charging up to 100%
5. Recycle batteries in fireproof container.
6. Think Helicopter Level Safety.
7. Treat DIY repair EUC batteries as high risk project.

I was curious, would you ever consider doing some battery comparison range test?
For instance; It would be very insightful to see the actual milage you can get on a wheel like the Master or the ex-20 using high range batteries and then compare that outcome to the actual milage you can get with the high performance batteries in the same wheels.  

This would give people a general guide for realistic range expectations when deciding on cells instead of just going off of... one type of cell will get you more rang than the other.
I would personally choose the safer, lower range, 40-T cells in a powerful EUC, but I would also like to know what that lower range is actually going to be, so I can adjust my expectations accordingly.

Nice video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge about this subject. I want to buy my second wheel for commuting. First one (ks16s) after 5000 km is still great but to slow. What is most important for me is reliability, speed up to 40km/h with heavy (97 kg) rider and weatherproofing. I do not abuse wheels, ride aggressively, or go hard offroad. Just simple commuting. I'm afraid of battery fire that is why I excluded Gotway/Bedgode wheels. Now I consider Kingsong KS18XL, Kingsong s18, Kingsong 16X, Inmotion V11... What do you think, which would be best?
