I had a lot of fun filming this one. Here's the other videos in the series!

I love how Japan is such a walkable country. I grew up in a place where it’s hard to get around without a car. If you live in suburbia, you’ll be stuck at home. And Japan’s mixed-zoned cities makes life so convenient. I live in a small town and not in a big city. Yet everything I need is a few minutes on foot from my doorstep! These things affords me a simple life, and that is how I truly feel free. I love living in Japan.

I love seeing more of Akko in your videos. She adds comedy to the videos and very personable, she is a great addition!

This "Tokyo by *vehicle*" series that you have is seriously one of the most satisfying set of informational videos that you've made. Seriously considering most of them on my next visit.

Good job, Greg!

As a bit of a nerd when it comes to public transportation and machines in general, this was a treat! One of the things I want to do in Japan is ride around on the many unique forms of transport. Not only to get from place to place but I think it’s a great way to see the world go buy you!

I was in Japan for my first time recently and I really appreciated Google maps giving direction of which subway exit to use to get to the destination.
The public transport options here are like no other city I've ever been to, just amazing.

Liked the video, especially the last part. Ako was having a blast! She deserved that "beer drinking part " that she was yearning during the midday.

The development of Japan is intrinsically linked to its public transport. My wife has a car here in Japan, but we don't use it if we're going anywhere that has a bus route or is near a station. There's no point. They're great at disincentivising car travel. People in other countries claim their rights are being violated if they can't easily and cheaply drive and park everywhere.

it's nice to watch you wandering around the city, especially for someone from non-walkable city like me

The Tokyo Station is the architectural equivalent of a mullet - business in the front, history in the back 🤣 love the video, it's nice to explore through your lens!

Akko-san from 25:28 onwards is speaking the language of my soul. 😂Tired & wants well-earned alcohol. 🍻

Another relaxing, informative and wonderful video. Love your Tokyo by.... series. It reminds me of my time there and makes me want to go back! The Tokyo by boat one specifically was an eye opener, I had no idea someone could rent and drive a private boat around on their own! This one one was awesome, I bet you and Akko loved the end when you could eat, chill and have a beer after a long day.

Greg, this video and the other big video of Tokyo by Train are my favorites, as a good lover and passionate about all these transportation topics. Despite everything I've read about Tokyo, you always introduce me new things, I didn't know about water taxis or the dinner boat at the end of the video! How beautiful everything, like all your videos!

Special mention to Akko, it's very nice to see her and she's also an important part of making the video work well, carrying the backpack and helping you with some recordings, so congratulations to both of you, the video turned out great!! Many greetings from Santiago de Chile!
