Corvettes aren't built from the factory for drag racing. That's up to the owner. Here we see a stock 495hp C8 base model vs a highly modified 1000+hp Challenger with full drag slicks. It's not even a real comparison. Built for different purposes. The Corvette would kill the Challenger on a race track with curves or the back roads, because that's what it was designed for. Apples to oranges.
