Homemade compact and very simple 32T Hydraulic Press

So I built hydraulic press machine with 32 tons hydraulic bottle jack and u profile metal. For plans - width 60cm (23.6in), height 80cm (31.4in), thickness 15cm (6in). Working space about 35cm (14in). In future I will need to upgrade springs, current is too soft.
It's simple but very effective and by capacity is compact size.

It's great how you made your own press and always fun and handy creating your own tools.
What I will say is just because you put a 32 Ton jack in it, does not mean that your design will handle the 32 tons. The U-Beam you put on the top will bend before you even get close.
If you had extra U-Beam material, putting 2 together and upright to create an I-beam would have been much stronger and could take that force.
Alternatively to strengthen your design, even boxing the middle of the top C-beam to help stabilize the beam flanges may help a little.
If you only use it for little things then no need to change anything but assuming you spent extra money on a big jack like that, you needed something with some power.
