💚Kudos to Kasha
Makes about 3 cups
🌱2 cups raw buckwheat groats
🌱1 cup GF oats
🌱¼ cup ground flaxseed
🌱1 ½ cups carrot pulp
🌱1 cup unsweetened applesauce
🌱½ cup of peanut butter powder (sub cacao powder)
¼ cup maple syrup
🌱2 tablespoons cinnamon (I’ve used chai spice also with delicious results)
🌱2 tablespoons vanilla
🌱1 teaspoon sea salt
🌱½ cup raisin, currents, or alternate dried fruit (sub cacao nibs or chips if subbing with cacao powder above)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add groats through dried fruit. Mix well and spread evenly on parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven break apart and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes. Let cool completely on the
pan before enjoying.
Transfer to an airtight container or store in the freezer to retain extra crunch and freshness. It’s delicious right out of the freezer!
